Who we are
The CLC has regulated licensed conveyancers in England and Wales for over 25 years. More recently we have extended our regulatory expertise to cover other legal services including probate and Alternative Business Structures.
Our mission is to protect the public interest, provide consumer choice and to promote effective competition in the legal services market. We do so by setting entry standards and regulating providers to deliver high quality, accessible legal services.
